Our Mission
My Sisters' Closet & Co. Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women by providing more than just clothing—we offer resources, support, and opportunities to help women thrive. Through business mentorship, job-seeking assistance, resume building, and self-care initiatives, we create a space where women can gain confidence, develop skills, and step into their full potential. Our mission is to uplift and equip women with the tools they need to achieve success in every aspect of their lives.
FOUNDER
SHELIA BRADLEY BROWN
The passionate founder of My Sisters' Closet & Co. Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering women through career development, digital literacy, and comprehensive support services. A US Army Veteran and background in Cyber Security, Shelia witnessed firsthand the challenges that many women face in accessing opportunities for professional growth and personal development.
Inspired by her own experiences and a deep commitment to community empowerment, Shelia launched the foundation to create a space where women can find not only stylish and professional attire but also the essential resources to build strong resumes, secure meaningful employment, and even launch their own businesses. Her vision—captured in our tagline, "Style, Strength & Sisterhood—A Closet Full of Opportunities"—drives every initiative of the foundation.
Through tireless advocacy and innovative programming, Shelia B Brown has built a platform that combines fashion with functionality, offering workshops, mentorship, and digital tools to help women overcome barriers and achieve economic independence. Her leadership is rooted in empathy, resilience, and a belief that every woman deserves access to the opportunities and resources necessary to thrive.
She remains committed to expanding the impact of My Sisters' Closet & Co. Foundation and continues to inspire others with her dedication to creating lasting change in the community.
